For all of its theatricality, there’s an earthiness to the Island Of Misfit Toys’ music, one that’s on display in their new video for “Burble,” a track off of their sophomore album from last year, I Made You Something. The video starts off innocently enough, with the group building a tent in the woods out of blankets — speaking to the communal spirit of the band — but things take a dark turn as some mysterious and shadowy invaders enter the picture and turn the whole experience into a camping trip gone wrong. The video was directed by Kenna Hynes, Alex Sherman, and Chris Owsiany — watch below.
