Since late last summer, R&B singer Tinashe has had a bit of a lengthy roll-out for upcoming sophomore effort Joyride. However, the tracks she’s offered have made the wait much more bearable. “Party Favors” and “Energy” were more fun jaunts aimed at the club, but her latest share “Ride Of Your Life” is a lesson in style and seduction. Metro Boomin’s banging drums, deep bass, and airy synths are an ideal platter to serve up Tinashe’s dreamy vocal harmonies and floating cadences bragging about how she does her thing like no other woman can.
