Yesterday, we learned that Future, possibly our greatest working rapper, has a new album called EVOL ready to come out on Saturday, only a couple of weeks after he gave us the Purple Reign mixtape. And today, the album’s closing track “Fly Shit Only” debuted on Beats 1 Radio. It’s a kaleidoscopic, zoned-the-fuck-out drug lament, and it’s built on a chiming guitar line that reminds me, no joke, of Radiohead’s “Street Spirit (Fade Out).” On first listen, I’m not even sure I like it, which is usually a good sign for Future songs.
