A Valentine’s Day themed episode of Hawaii Five-0 airs on 2/12 and will feature music by Coldplay. A Head Full Of Dreams was released last year, and even though the songs “Adventure Of A Lifetime,” “Amazing Day,” “Birds,” and “Everglow” have been out for two months, Hawaii Five-0 is still billing this as a “new Coldplay songs” showcase. The show’s executive producer Peter Lenkov stated the following in a press release:

As we started writing the Valentine’s Day episode, that album basically became our soundtrack and we knew we wanted to use their music to illustrate what was happening with our Ohana. These songs were just a perfect fit.

The episode is titled “Hoa ‘inea” (Hawaiian for “Misery Loves Company”) and apparently the Hawaii Five-0 protagonists will be investigating a double-homicide! Love hurts, indeed.
