The Lonely Island first launched their careers via Saturday Night Live way back in 2005, and now the trio are going to have a Saturday night sketch show of their own. Entertainment Weekly reports that Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are teaming up with Paul Scheer of The League, Human Giant, and a million other things to executive produce a half-hour sketch comedy series for Fox called Party Over Here. The show will feature both pre-taped shorts and segments filmed in front of a live studio audience at LA’s Alexandria Hotel. Nicole Byer, Jessica McKenna, and former SNL writer Alison Rich are set to star, and it’ll debut next month, airing Saturdays at 11PM starting 3/12. “In an age where most millennials don’t even know what a TV is, we are really excited to be getting into the TV business,” Scheer said in a statement.
