The latest to come out of the PC Music camp is the Apocalypse Survival Kit compilation, which was curated by Spinee and features new songs from several PC Music notables including herself, Life Sim, Lil Data, and DJ Warlord, plus a few producers from outside that sphere like DJ Detweiler, Ultramiedo, and Machine Girl. The 8-track collection is filled with the same kind of mutated and (appropriately) post-apocalyptic pop that has been the weirder half of the crew’s lane for a while now, and it’ll probably appeal to anyone who has bought into the group’s sound (I have) and annoy anyone who hasn’t.
