According to Kylie Jenner and Kylie Minogue, there’s only room for one “Kylie” in the entertainment biz. Reality star/Snapchatter/whatever Jenner has filed U.S. trademark applications for the term “Kylie” in connection with both advertising and entertainment services, and Australian singer-songwriter Minogue’s representatives filed “notices of opposition” to both applications this past week.

Minogue’s representatives, KDB, wrote that Jenner is a “‘secondary reality television personality’ who has received criticism from disability rights groups and African-American communities,” reports World Intellectual Property Review.

Minogue currently owns the trademarks for the terms “Kylie Minogue Darling,” “Lucky–The Kylie Minogue Musical,” and just plain “Kylie Minogue.” Her reps claim the trademark would cause confusion and “dilute” Minogue’s brand.
