Julian Lynch – “May” (Stereogum Premiere)

Gabriela Tully Claymore | February 29, 2016 - 10:59 am

Julian Lynch makes vast sonic soundscapes that transcend genre barriers and exist someplace on the periphery of the waking and dream life. His latest haunting and expansive single will be featured on a forthcoming compilation presented by Dig That Treasure! Records titled A Home. All of the album’s proceeds will go to the Refugee Council to help aid asylum seekers in the UK. Fellow contributors include Laetitia Sadler, Steve Sobs, The Go! Team, and more. Lynch’s inclusion, “May,” is an eerie, many-tiered piece of astral folk. It sounds a lot like springtime — listen below.
