Fear Of Men are following up their very pretty and promising 2014 debut Loom with a new record called Fall Forever, which will be out in June. “Island” is the lead single, and it’s a gorgeous and resolute assertion of self from Jessica Weiss and her bandmates. “I’m like an island/ I don’t need to feel your arms around me,” she opens. “You tell me impossible things that break me/ You tell me impossible things that shake me to my core/ I will do what I want/ Woman of wax, forever more.” Listen below.
