Fans have been waiting for a new Tool album for almost 10 years now. Back in October 2014, we saw some visual evidence of the band in the studio together, and Tool embarked on a 17-date tour earlier this year, but are we any closer to a new Tool album? Well, in a new profile on Maynard James Keenan’s other band Puscifer in The Press-Enterprise, the Tool frontman offers a rare (albeit brief) progress report: “We’ve found a common ground. We just can’t seem to move forward.” So…not really!
