These days, the Brooklyn producer Kingdom is probably best-known as a frequent Kelela collaborator and as the boss of the deeply cool label Fade To Mind. But Kingdom is also an underrated creator of sharp, visceral dance tracks, and a new single shows exactly what he can do. On Friday, Kingdom releases a new two-track EP (what we used to call a “single”), and “Shox,” its A-side, is a hard, nasty midtempo instrumental banger. Listen to it below.
