Miracle Legion Played Their First Show In 20 Years Last Night

Miracle Legion was formed over 30 years ago with the pens of Mark Mulcahy and guitarist Ray Neal as the driving force. They shifted members throughout the years, and initially floundered due to label disputes in the early ’90s before regrouping for Portrait Of A Damaged Family in 1996. They played a bunch of shows in the Northeast to support the album, but called it quits shortly after with members floating off to join other bands. Twenty years later, they’ve recently announced a reunion tour in conjunction with the 20th anniversary vinyl edition of Portrait for Record Store Day. Last night, they played their first show in two decades to warm up for the tour at the Cake Shop in NYC. Check out some fan footage of “The Backyard” and “Snacks And Candy” below.
