Last weekend, reunited Coachella headliners LCD Soundsystem paid tribute to David Bowie. Last night, sadly, they were forced to mourn another fallen musical legend. Near the beginning of their set, they covered Prince’s “Controversy,” which made for an awesome LCD Soundsystem song. And before they took the stage, the main stage screens played the entirety of Prince’s cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella 2008, with a Prince quote from that night appearing on the screen as the performance ended: “From now on This is Prince’s House.” Watch LCD Soundsystem’s version of “Controversy” below.

Of course, that wasn’t the only Prince tribute at Coachella last night. As Billboard reports, the fest’s trademark palm trees glowed purple the whole night, as did the festival floodlights. Sufjan Stevens teamed up with R&B singer Gallant to perform “Purple Rain,” rapper Joey Bada$$ played some of “1999,” Ellie Goulding sang “When Doves Cry,” Mavis Staples sang the chorus of “Purple Rain,” Jack Ü closed their set with a montage of Prince moments, and Christine And The Queens did a dance routine to Chaka Khan’s version of “I Feel For You.” See a few clips below.
