Nothing, the tough-guy shoegazers from Philadelphia, are a couple of weeks away from releasing their sophomore album Tired Of Tomorrow. We’ve already posted a handful of its songs: “Vertigo Flowers,” “Eaten By Worms,” “ACD (Abscessive Compulsive Disorder).” They’ve now shared what might be the best of the lot: “The Dead Are Dumb,” a soft, gauzy, swooning dreampop hymn. I haven’t listened to the lyrics closely yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a Grateful Dead diss. Check it out below, via SPIN.
