Five years ago, Rihanna and Calvin Harris teamed up for “We Found Love,” a massive anthem that is maybe the best Rihanna song and definitely the best Calvin Harris song. These days, “We Found Love” sounds like a classic, and Harris and Rihanna performed it together at Coachella earlier this month, to general pandemonium. Today, they’ve teamed up for another song. “This Is What You Came For” does not sound like a generational anthem or anything, but I can picture it getting pretty big. It’s a bright, immediate, well-crafted dance anthem, and while any halfway-decent singer could’ve been the one on the mic, Rihanna finds places to put her personality into it.
