Neil Hagerty of famed lo-fi rockers Royal Trux has released the video for “Colfax West” from Denver, the most recent album under his Howling Hex guise. This is the second video off the album, following the Fred Armisen-directed “Mountain.” Directed by Elisa Ambrogio of Magik Markers, the new video is a kaleidoscopic trip of flashy imagery, wild shapes, and vintage imagery of the forgotten toys left behind in your parents’ basement, creating a perfectly weird visual spectacle to accompany Hagerty’s bright guitar sound. It is inevitable that this hypnotic concoction will expand your headspace. Watch below.
