Prolific producer Lil Silva is set to add yet another EP to his quickly growing catalog. The Jimi EP is out at the end of this week, and we’ve already heard “Lines” and “Caught Up.” Today he sneaks in one last single, “De Ja” featuring crooner Kent Jamz. It’s rumbling deconstructed electro R&B, with an infectious hook and pop sensibilities. Jamz repeats, “it feels like I’ve been here before, lost in love, you know me,” evoking the easily relatable feeling of not knowing how to deal with falling in love while being unable to cushion the fall. I’ll probably be humming that hook for the rest of the day. Check it out.
