Field Mouse have announced that their brand new LP, entitled Episodic, will be released this summer on Topshelf Records. They’ve also shared its first single, “The Mirror.” Episodic features cover art by Hop Along’s Francis Quinlan, production from Quinlan’s bandmate Joe Reinhart (who also recently helmed the production of Modern Baseball’s stellar new album Holy Ghost) and guest appearances from Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis, Swearin’s Allison Crutchfield, and Joseph D’Agostino of Cymbals Eat Guitars. Lead single “The Mirror” is an awesome fast-burner that sees vocalist Rachel Browne straining her voice in the best way, yelling “You haunt yourself/ No other in its place.” Check it out below.
