ABBA Performed For The First Time In Decades Last Night

After making a rare public appearance together earlier this year, Swedish pop legends ABBA performed together last night for the first time in 30 years. Original members Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad were in attendace for a private party in downtown Stockholm celebrating the outfit’s 50th anniversary. According to Swedish site Expressen, Fältskog and Lyngstad got on stage to perform the song “Me And I” from their 1980 album Super Trouper, and dedicated it to Ulvaeus and Andersson, with the male songwriting duo joining in on the performance towards the end of the song thus reuniting the whole group on stage. Lyngstad had this to say about the reunion: “It was absolutely amazing. A lot of emotions. We’ve made this journey throughout our history. Benny and Björn in particular. It’s been very nostalgic.”

När Björn & Benny firar sitt 50-åriga samarbete blir den naturligtvis en väldigt speciell kväll.
