Tom Petty revived his pre-Heartbreakers band Mudcrutch earlier this year to release a new album called Mudcrutch 2, and today, he’s sharing a new video for the gently fingerpicked “I Forgive It All.” Dude must’ve called in a few favors, because the clip has some serious starpower behind it, directed by Sean Penn and Samuel Bayer and starring Anthony Hopkins. It’s as quiet and contemplative as the music, right up until the surprising climax of Hopkins shouting “I forgive!” in an empty hotel room. Watch below.
