A few years ago, Robyn said that she was moving away from the album as a format, and so far she’s stayed true to her word — instead focusing on short-form collaborations with Röyksopp and as La Bagatelle Magique — but I sorta just wish she’d drop a whole fucking album out of nowhere, ya know? Anyway, her latest project is a remix series that sees a bunch of top-notch producers — including Cassius, the Black Madonna, and Joakim — revisit some of the tracks in her insanely strong back catalog. She’s been releasing them two at a time over the last few weeks as part of the RMX RBN series, and she’s been performing them throughout her run of North American festival tour dates this summer.
