The Hold Steady Announce Boys And Girls In America Hometown Shows

The Hold Steady have already had a great album turn 10 with Separation Sunday hitting the decade mark last year. That means their followup behemoth, Boys And Girls In America, will turn 10 this year.

In celebration, the band has announced a series of shows in their home borough of Brooklyn in which they’ll perform the album in its entirety three nights in a row from 12/1-12/3 with a different special guest each night. These will be the only headlining shows for the Hold Steady this year. But the three nights in Brooklyn will not be the end of the the celebrations. They will continue through October 2017, spanning the entirety of the album’s 10th anniversary year. Keyboardist Franz Nicolay will return to the band for all announced performances as well.

The band will also perform Boys And Girls In America at this year’s Riot Fests in Denver (9/3) and Chicago (9/17), as well as at the Toronto Urban Roots Fest (9/16).
