Anyone who saw Anderson .Paak at last weekend’s Pitchfork Music Festival — or at any of the many, many other festivals he’s playing this summer — already knows how that guy can just completely conquer a stage. And last night, he appeared to do it without even meaning to. Earlier this year, Anderson .Paak teamed up with Odd Future rapper Domo Genesis for “Dapper,” a bubbly and breezy and excellent roller-disco funk track. The two of them performed it together on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. I’m guessing Anderson .Paak was at least trying to hold back — it is, after all, Domo’s song — but he couldn’t quite dial it back enough to avoid hijacking the stage.
