We’ve been gobsmacked by everything Billie Marten has released so far, and “Lionhearted” lives up to her standard of excellence. The teenage British folk singer just shared the track on BBC Radio 1, where she also announced that her debut album Writing Of Blues And Yellows will be out this fall. The album title is a reference to synesthesia, so I’m curious which shades Marten sees in this music’s rustic celestial sigh. Hear “Lionhearted” below.

Tracklist:

“La Lune”
“Bird”
“Lionhearted”
“Emily”
“Milk & Honey”
“Green”
“Heavy Weather”
“Unaware”
“Hello Sunshine”
“Live”
“Teeth”

“It’s A Fine Day”
