White Lies have been Best Videos Of The Week mainstays since way back. They may find themselves in contention for Best Videos Of The Week again on the strength of their clip for the standout track “Take It Out On Me.” A loose, cinematic, subtitled tale unfolds as a man speaks of religious redemption and salvation in the beginning, and members of a small desert town are taken over by some supernatural phenomenon that leaves them in a creepy trance with their eyes rolled back in their heads and the whites of their eyes exposed. Then a healer comes to heal those afflicted along with a procession of nuns. It’s beautifully and ambitiously shot. Watch.
