Marvin Gaye’s co-writer’s heirs claim that Ed Sheeran copied Gaye’s probably most-recognized hit, “Let’s Get It On.” According to TMZ, the lawsuit specifically says Sheeran ripped off the melody, harmony, and rhythm composition from “Let’s Get It On” for “Thinking Out Loud.” Gaye co-wrote the song along with Ed Townsend, who passed away in 2003, and now the owners of Townsend’s estate are coming after Sheeran.

This isn’t the first time Sheeran has been accused of shady dealings. Just this summer he was sued by songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard and their publishing company HaloSongs for allegedly ripping off their 2009 track “Amazing” on 2014 single “Photograph.”

And it’s also not the first time Marvin Gaye has been ripped off, as Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” lost in court to Marvin Gaye’s estate to the tune of $5.3 million.

So did Sheeran steal from Gaye? You be the judge.
