Long Island brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario are the Lemon Twigs. The new 4AD signees released their debut single for the label, “These Words,” a little over a month ago. Turns out the single is the first taste of Do Hollywood, out this fall. And today, the lo-fi, retro-leaning ballad receives an old-timey visual treatment via NPR. The Brook Linder-directed clip goes along with the duo’s throwback aesthetic, but takes it beyond the ’70s vibes, all the way back to the 18th century. The D’Addario brothers don the pompous white-wigs of 18th century gentry and jam the fuck out in beautifully shot silhouettes. Watch.
