Hiss Golden Messenger casually announced a new album, Heart Like A Levee, this past spring while playing “Happy Day,” one of its new tracks. Since then we’ve heard “Biloxi,” and it seems the album is shaping up to be solid.

Today, M. C. Taylor’s band shares the new single “Tell Her I’m Just Dancing” along with a set of visuals. The song is a slow-building, keys-driven churner with sparse rhythmic guitar hits and a splash of warm saxophone. Its video is a rich, black-and-white jam session with a soulful, passionate performance from the band. Check it out.
