Jack White Plays In Alabama Celebrity Baseball Game

Jack White is a partner and investor in a baseball bat company, and he got his own baseball card to commemorate the time he threw out the first pitch at a Tigers game. Even though he occasionally looks inconsolably sad at sporting events, he genuinely seems to enjoy them, and yesterday, as AL.com reports, he got to enjoy them a little more than usual. White and his Nashville-based Third Man Records label played as a team in a celebrity baseball game at the University Of North Alabama’s field to kick off fashion designer and occasional Third Man partner Billy Reid’s annual Shindig. No word on whether or not White’s team won or how he played, but he does look dashing in that uniform. See below.

The Third Man Triples in all its glory. Thanks for an amazing afternoon, @billy_reid & @warsticbaseball #thirdmantriples
