Last week, Sleigh Bells announced that they’d be coming back this fall with a new album called Jessica Rabbit. And after sharing the new tracks “Rule Number One” and “Hyper Dark,” they’ve now unveiled the first video for the album. It’s for “It’s Just Us Now,” a hard, melodic new song that switches up its beat in disorienting ways and evokes the noisy rush of the duo’s debut. The video, which band member Derek Miller directed, takes full advantage of singer Alexis Krauss’ charisma. It shows her in a swimming pool crying, rivulets of makeup running down her face, and freaking out in a field while Miller, a bandana covering his face, plays guitar. As ever, the two look badass and iconic, never bothering with petty things like narrative structure. Check it out below.
