“Will earth shake when I go back to sleep again? Will time loop back and leave us at the start again?” Personal Space ask on “Ghost World,” the second single from the Brooklyn band’s upcoming debut album, Ecastatic Burbs, after “Offering” earlier this month. They sound positively chill about impending doom, instead choosing to focus on the intimate connection they have with another person. “Well, I guess it’s gonna be a long time now/ ‘Til the ghost world reaches up and pulls us under the ground,” they sing of that inevitability, but the sunny disposition of the song staves off any anxiety over their spectral fate.
