Animated Aussie MC Tkay Maidza is set to drop her full-length debut, TKAY, next month. A few weeks ago she dropped the certified banger “Carry On” featuring Killer Mike, and today it gets the visual treatment. It’s a black-and-white affair with bursts of color as Maidza delivers her dexterous bars on a suspended stage à la Kanye West in an empty warehouse. It may sound simple, but she brings the raw, vibrant energy that’s kept us captivated for a couple years, matching the huge, swelling vivacity of the song. I wish the killer of mics could have graced the clip as well, but it still overflows with swag. Check it out.
