Five years ago, I kicked off a minor comments-section when I named Four The Record, the fourth album from inveterate pop-country ass-kicker Miranda Lambert, an Album Of The Week. But Lambert has always been really, really good at what she does, and that hasn’t changed. Next month, she’ll follow up her fun-as-hell 2014 LP Platinum with a new double album called The Weight Of These Wings. And this morning, she’s shared the big, surging ballad “Keeper Of The Flame,” a song that really gives Lambert a chance to show off her voice.
