There have been many documentaries and specials about the murders of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G., but with the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me in the works, and the homicides perhaps forever unsolved, there is yet another TV show that will document two of the most high-profile open cases ever.

USA Network bought the pilot for a new true-crime series called Unsolved that delves into the police investigations of Pac and Biggie’s murders. The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story director Anthony Hemingway will helm the project with writing from Suits’ Kyle Long and consultation from LAPD Detective Greg Kading who’s the author of Murder Rap: The Untold Story Of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations. There isn’t a timeline for when the show will air as of yet — or if USA will even pick up the series. It can’t be cheap to license those songs, after all!
