Earlier this year, the wispy and airy R&B star Jhené Aiko teamed up with Big Sean to form a duo called Twenty88 and to release an EP. There’s apparently a full album from the duo on the way next year. But in the meantime, Aiko has released a solo single called “Maniac,” an intense and futuristic piece of work with some beautifully warped production. This is the type of song that might be playing during the nightclub scene of a sci-fi movie, and you an hear it below.
