Los Angeles synthpop trio MUNA were a Band To Watch last year, and in the time since, they’ve signed on with a major label and released their Loudspeaker EP. Next year, they’ll release their debut album About U, and they’ve just shared its first single. “I Know A Place” is a piece of prime bittersweet ’80s style dance-pop, a song that could’ve easily appeared on the soundtrack of the Black Mirror episode “San Junipero” without ringing any of those “wait, this song isn’t old” alarm bells.
