Primus, Tycho, Tune-Yards, Dan Deacon Playing Oakland Fire Relief Benefit Next Week

In the wake of last weekend’s tragic warehouse fire in Oakland, Bay Area promoters Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment are organizing a special benefit show called Oakland United to raise money for the relief effort. The event, which is scheduled for 12/14 at Oakland’s Fox Theater, will feature performances and stories from musicians and journalists including Primus, Tycho, Tune-Yards, Dan Deacon, Geographer, Thao Nguyen, Rogue Wave, Jay Som, and more. Tickets go on sale on Friday, and all proceeds will go directly to the Gray Area Foundation For The Arts Oakland Fire Relief Fund. Check out the initial lineup below.
