In a few weeks, the animated kids movie Sing comes out, and the soundtrack (which was released today) features some odd pairings. Example one: Reese Witherspoon doing an EDM cover of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” with comedian Nick Kroll. Two: A Latin-flavored cover of Daft Punk’s “Around The World” by German composer Señor Coconut. Three: A punk-style song called “I Don’t Wanna” sung by Scarlett Johansson and Beck Bennett. Huh!
