Brit-rock depressives Elbow are coming back early next year with the new album Little Fictions, and they’ve just unveiled the video for their majestic first single “Magnificent (She Says).” Director Joe Connor filmed the lyrical, impressionistic video somewhere in Asia. (Thailand? Cambodia? I should really know my Asian landmarks better.) Connor didn’t rely on narrative. Instead, he captured all these lovely little slice-of-life moments — little girls jumping rope, Buddhist monks at prayer, that kind of thing. Check it out below.
