Gorillaz Announce Demon Dayz Festival, First Show In 5 Years

Gorillaz seem to be readying for a big comeback in 2017; they’ve already teamed up with Benjamin Clementine on the single “Hallelujah Money.” And now they’ve announced that their first live show since 2012 won’t just be a live show; it’ll be a whole festival that they’ve put together. As NME points out, the group will bring the first-ever Demon Dayz festival to Dreamland, an amusement park in the UK city of Kent. The festival goes down 6/10, and the rest of the lineup has yet to be announced, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it includes some of the many artists who have guested on Gorillaz records over the years. Red Bull will stream the festival live, and ticketholders will get to go on the rides at the amusement park, which is a nice little perk.
