BNQT is a new indie supergroup that was conceived of by Midlake’s Eric Pulido and features the following members as vocalists: Band Of Horses’ Ben Bridwell, Franz Fredinand’s Alex Kapranos, Travis’ Fran Healy, and Grandaddy’s Jason Lytle. Back in January, they announced their debut album, Volume I, and shared its first single, “Restart.” Today, they’ve shared another new track called “Unlikely Force.” Here’s what Pulido said about the song in a statement:

‘Unlikely Force’ was the first of all the album tunes that we worked on and a guinea pig of sorts. We wanted a lush ’70s feel good vibe and Ben [Bridwell]’s song was a perfect foundation to build upon. It ultimately set the precedent for what was to come!
