Art School Jocks are a young Atlanta quartet whose sound is a sort of fizzy, deadpan DIY take on power-pop; the band themselves call it “existential basement pop,” which describes it better than I could. Their self-titled EP is coming out in June, and they’ve just shared “Just A Gwen,” a sticky, catchy tune about the reality that, as a woman, you could be attacked at any moment.
