Earlier this year, Australian psych-rock bandits King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announced ridiculous, borderline unworkable plans to release five albums in one calendar year. The first of those albums, which has the excellent title Flying Microtonal Banana, is already out in the world, and it’s way better than you’d expect the first in a hastily-recorded five-album series to be. And now, the band has announced plans for the second album in that series. This time, it has the even more excellent title Murder Of The Universe. That’s the evocative cover art above. Below, check out an album trailer that features a minute of intense, ominous, cinematic new music. It’s the rare album trailer that has me really hype for what comes next.
