UK producer Mura Masa (aka Alex Crossan) has announced that his debut full-length album is coming out on 7/14, and it has a stacked guest list. It includes the previously-released Charli XCX collab “1 Night” and A$AP Rocky-featuring “Lovesick,” and in a new interview with Zane Lowe, Crossan said that Damon Albarn, A.K. Paul, Nao, Christine And The Queens, Desiigner, Jamie Lidell, Bonzai, and Tom Tripp all make appearances on the album. (Rocky, Charli, and Desiigner all appeared during Mura Masa’s Coachella sets earlier this month.) Check out the album’s cover art, which went up in various locations around the UK and in New York, below.

Here’s his Beats 1 interview:

He talks about working with a number of the collaborators, including Albarn. Here’s what he had to say about that:

Damon Albarn. That was the big one for me. We originally met about the Gorillaz record because he does a lot of collaborations and works with a lot of people. We met up to chat about music, he showed me his drum machine from 1920. He’s got this mad studio. He also has a Bee Gees brand drum machine from the 1970s. I sent him a few ideas for the album and he heard this one, this song’s called ‘Blue’ originally about my girlfriend and loving her and her not being able to understand how that makes me feel and that weird degree of separation that happens when you love someone else but they really don’t know how much you love them and he turned it into this duet where he’s singing the chorus and I’m singing the chorus and then he does the verses. What’s trippy to me is it’s Damon Albarn singing my words to my girlfriend. So I’ve gotten 2D to sing a love song to my girlfriend. And I was like isn’t this the best present you could ever give someone? I think it might be my favorite on the album. It closes out the album, a bit of a slow jam.

Mura Masa is out 7/14.
