It’s been a very good year for the Chainsmokers.

As previously reported, the EDM/pop duo marks an uninterrupted year in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, as its latest single, “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay, rebounds from No. 8 to No. 6 on the chart dated May 13.

With their latest frame, the Chainsmokers have now spent 52 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10, dating to the streak’s start on the chart dated May 21, 2016. The run encompasses four top 10s: “Don’t Let Me Down,” featuring Daya (which reached No. 3); “Closer,” featuring Halsey (12 weeks at No. 1); “Paris” (No. 6); and “Something” (which has risen to No. 3).

Only Katy Perry had previously logged at least a year in the bracket nonstop, having linked a record 69 straight weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10 in 2010-11.

Here’s a recap of the five longest such streaks in the Hot 100’s history (which dates to the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958 inception):

Most consecutive weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10
69 weeks, Katy Perry, 2010-11
52 weeks, the Chainsmokers, 2016-17
51 weeks, Drake, 2015-16
48 weeks, Ace of Base, 1993-94
46 weeks, Rihanna, 2010-11

Meanwhile, “Something” surges with the Hot 100’s top gain in airplay, as it bullets at No. 3 on the Radio Songs chart with 114 million in all-format audience, up 13 percent, in the week ending April 30, according to Nielsen Music. Notably, the song is Coldplay’s highest-charting Radio Songs hit, having bested the No. 8 peak of its lone prior top 10, 2008’s “Viva La Vida.”
