Last month, Chicago twosome Ratboys announced their sophomore album, GN, with “Control,” and today they’ve followed that up with a video for another new track, “Elvis Is In The Freezer.” On this one, Julia Steiner recounts having to put down an old pet, and it’s done with the right amount of sadness but also an impressive warmth and understanding. The video, which was directed by Kenna Hynes, follows suit, playing out in reverse as two friends deal with the loss of the cat that bonded their friendship together. Watch and listen via NPR below.
