Bunny – “Face Your Own” Video

Toronto band Bunny are releasing their self-titled debut album, a shaggy, gently psychedelic collection of ’70s-inspired studio-pop, later this summer. And today, they’re sharing “Face Your Own,” an infectious jam that culminates with a smooth saxophone solo. This is how the band themselves describe it:

Like a sea cruise where you argue the whole time with your significant other. Sea sickness and bad vibes. But hold on! There’s a shrimp buffet tonight! There’s still hope! A few good folks offered their input and time on this track: Jay Hay (Interstellar Orchestra) on the killer sax, Adam Hindle (Born Ruffians) on percussion, Matt McLaren (Biblical, Steamboat) on the surefooted bass and manly scent. Inspired by a program heard on CBC radio.

It comes along with an animated music video that takes the “face” part of the title literally, with different brightly colored faces morphing into each other while lip-syncing the song. Watch below.

Bunny is out 8/18 via Tin Angel. Pre-order it here.
