“Only memories now,” seems like the motto for most ’80s teenage movies, where reckless kiddies with a twinkle in their eye undergo a life-changing event. Once it’s over, all that’s left are fragmented images destined to be distilled in stories. That motto and feeling of heart-thumping nostalgia are centerpieces of the new single “White Of An Eye,” from Roxanne Clifford’s synth-pop project Patience. The song is accompanied by a Lawrence Klein-directed video that features Clifford swaying in artificial moonlight and an array of saturated hues. Watch below.
