Diane Coffee – “Eclipse” (Pink Floyd Cover) Video

The only thing anybody in this country can talk about right now is the solar eclipse that will sweep across the US map like some cosmic forward-slash today. That apparently extends to the music world: We’ve already posted Absolutely Free’s cover of the Frankie Valli/Walker Brothers classic “The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore,” and you’ve probably heard Bonnie Tyler is performing “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” on a cruise ship today. And now Diane Coffee (aka former Foxygen member and Run The Jewels collaborator Shaun Fleming) has shared a live orchestral cover of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon closer “Eclipse.” It comes complete with a video shot on a fun little drama-club stage setup. Watch below and be reminded why “Eclipse” is one of the most popular prog-rock songs of all time.

A press release promises more Diane Coffee news soon, presumably about the follow-up to 2015’s Everybody’s A Good Dog.
