He’s got the top-selling song on iTunes, he’s relaxing and recording in Hawaii, and he’s working on “Love Lockdown” video. Things are good for Kanye. But why not hit 50 Cent one more time: “I guarantee this will be 50′s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.”

I can’t wait. Sidenote: I wish we’d get more ‘Oldstands’! please?

The iTunes version of the song still sounds bad to me, which is a shame because this is a song that had potential to become a classic. If only he sang the chorus with a little more energy, like on the VMA performance.

I hope he does something to improve this song and make a better version for the album… otherwise, it will be the beginning of the end for Kanye. And personally I don’t want that to happen.

What is so different now between this version and the live version? Except for maybe the more affected vocals, I don’t really understand why the live version would be better.

The chorus is different. He mumbles the chorus on the studio version, it’s awful. On the live version, he sang it with way more energy.
